In Milan, I came across "China House" - a cultural exchange event centered around sports.
On the 22nd, as the flame of the 25th Winter Olympic Games slowly went out, the "China House" located in Milan, Italy, also concluded its "warm encounter" with the world.
During the 19-day operation, as a comprehensive platform established and operated by the Chinese Olympic Committee for the Chinese sports delegation to participate in international comprehensive sports events, "China House" is not only a solid support for the delegation but also a cultural window open to the world, full of warmth.
From precious relics spanning time and space to cutting-edge modern technology, from the long history of sports to the accessible experiences of intangible cultural heritage, this meticulously created cultural stopover, with its unique charm, attracts the attention of people from all over the world.
This year's "China House" has multiple exhibition areas. In the section themed "Spirit of Sports - Racing Horses and Spring Festival Celebrations", 67 sets of precious cultural relics from the Chinese Sports Museum are on display for the public, quietly recounting the long history and profound depth of traditional Chinese sports. As you move from one area to another, the energetic sports interactive area features innovative achievements such as domestic intelligent robots and smart AI fitness equipment, allowing visitors to personally experience the unlimited possibilities of technology empowering sports. On the other side, the intangible cultural heritage exhibition area showcases the sweetness of sugar sculptures, the delicacy of paper-cutting, and the beautiful meanings of knot-weaving, attracting a large number of visitors to queue up in long lines to experience the charm of Chinese traditional culture.
