The 62nd Bologna Children's Book Exhibition opens, and Chinese children's books shine on the international stage

 The 62nd Bologna International Children's Book Fair opened on March 31 at the Bologna Convention and Exhibition Center in Italy. The Chinese Pavilion hosted multiple events to promote Chinese children's books to the world.

China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. led more than 40 publishing units to form a Chinese publishing delegation, with "Reading China" as the unified logo, bringing more than 2500 kinds of books to participate in the exhibition, and holding multiple cultural exchange activities, fully demonstrating the innovation and international influence of Chinese children's book publishing.

In addition, this year the Chinese exhibition group has also set up a "comprehensive exhibition area" at the Bologna Book Summit and Exhibition, which is linked with the "China Fine Children's Book Exhibition Area" to showcase publishing achievements in the fields of politics, economy, culture, philosophy, social sciences, natural sciences, literature and art, further expanding copyright cooperation and promoting cultural and academic exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Elena Pasoli, the director of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, stated at the event that the Chinese exhibition area is an important part of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, and through children's books, the world can better understand Chinese culture.
