On May 27th local time, the themed photo exhibition "Beijing Central Axis - Masterpiece of China's Ideal Capital Order" opened in Athens. The roundtable on "Dialogue among Ancient Civilizations for Global Progress" was held at the Acropolis Museum in Athens, Greece. More than 80 representatives from the political, cultural, and think tank circles of China and Greece attended the event, conducting in-depth discussions on topics such as "Cultural Heritage Protection and Sustainable Development", "Ancient Civilization Exchange and Mutual Learning", and "Light of Ancient Civilization: Historical Inheritance and Modern Innovation of Beijing and Athens".

Yu Yunquan, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Languages Administration, stated in his opening speech that although China and Greece are separated by mountains and seas, the power of civilization has made the two countries heart to heart. The commonality and common values of human civilization are accumulated and condensed in the two major civilizations of China and Greece, from which we can gather consensus and draw wisdom. It is suggested that China, Greece, and China Europe rely on traditional wisdom to promote the spirit of peace, fully explain the pursuit of peace reflected in the cultural heritage of each country, and provide valuable ideological resources for eliminating war; By exchanging and learning from each other to address common challenges, different civilizations can embrace and integrate beyond ideological differences, providing long-term guarantees for human progress; By utilizing innovative means to revitalize civilization, we will jointly explore new paths for the integration of culture and technology, and promote the modernization of content production and dissemination methods.
