Yinzhu International Exhibition boosts Beijing's Central Axis international cultural exchange.
In May 2025, a grand event of East-West civilization dialogue will be held on Beijing's Central Axis. The "France Exhibition" and "Greece Exhibition" meticulously curated by Yinzhu International Exhibition will kick off here, using architecture as a medium to showcase different civilizations' interpretations of ideal capitals.
The central axis of Beijing, as a masterpiece of the order of the Ming and Qing capitals, carries the wisdom of China's thousand-year-old urban planning. In this exhibition, the French section presents Western classical aesthetics and urban innovation concepts through models of historical buildings in Paris and digital projections. The Greek exhibition showcases the architectural philosophy of the Mediterranean civilization through the restoration of the Acropolis of Athens and modern art installations. The two major exhibition areas form a dialogue with the historical features of the central axis that transcends time and space, offering visitors an immersive cultural experience.
The person in charge of Yinzhu International Exhibition stated that this exhibition aims to interpret the cultural heritage value of Beijing's central axis from an international perspective and facilitate its application process for World Cultural Heritage status. During the event, multiple academic forums and public interaction activities will be held to further promote mutual learning among civilizations and international cultural exchanges.
This exhibition not only offers citizens of France and Greece the opportunity to experience diverse civilizations up close, but also showcases China's open attitude as a cultural hub to the world, injecting new vitality into the protection and inheritance of global cultural heritage.
