The Paris exhibition of "Human Memory - China World Heritage" photography will open on April 12, 2025 at the Bastille Design Center in Paris, France. The exhibition mainly uses images as a link to present the magnificent picture of China's world heritage and showcase the Eastern practices of human heritage protection.

Exhibition content

This exhibition will show the overseas public 59 world heritages listed in the The World Heritage List. Photographic works showing Chinese representative historic sites, archaeological sites, natural landscapes and cultural routes, such as the Earthen Building in Fujian Province, Mogao Grottoes, Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area Valley and Beijing Central Axis, attracted French audiences. The exhibition also includes a special section on "Mutual Learning of Civilizations in Every Square Inch", showcasing three sets of stamps jointly issued by China and France with the theme of iconic landscapes of China and France. In the on-site interactive unit, the audience can experience the renewed vitality of traditional culture empowered by technology through oracle bone script literacy and opera face changing mini programs.
