The 77th Frankfurt Book Fair opened at the Frankfurt Exhibition Center in Germany on the evening of the 14th, with over 4,000 publishers from 92 countries and regions participating.
This year's book fair coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union. Chinese publishing houses have brought over 5,000 titles and more than 6,500 books to the fair, with foreign language editions accounting for more than one-third. During the book fair, Chinese and foreign publishing houses will jointly hold 58 cultural exchange activities, covering new book launches, copyright signings, academic symposiums, art exhibitions, etc.
