The 62nd Bologna International Children's Book Fair opened at the Bologna Exhibition Center in Italy on March 31. The Chinese delegation organized multiple events to promote Chinese children's books on the world stage.

China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Corporation led a Chinese publishing delegation consisting of over 40 publishing units, featuring the unified brand "Reading China", with over 2,500 book titles on display. The delegation organized multiple cultural exchange events, fully demonstrating the innovative power and international influence of Chinese children's book publishing.

At the book fair, the Chinese delegation set up a "Chinese Quality Children's Books Exhibition Area" to showcase youth editions such as "Xi Jinping's Stories (Juvenile Edition)" and "The Youth of China: My Reading of Xi Jinping's Governance of China," as well as premium series including "Stories of Chinese Pioneers" and "Chinese Traditional Culture Children's Picture Book Series."

Furthermore, this year's Chinese delegation has established a "Comprehensive Exhibition Area" at the Bologna Book Fair and Conference, which will coordinate with the "Chinese Quality Children's Books Exhibition Area" to collectively showcase publishing achievements in fields such as politics, economy, culture, philosophy, social sciences, natural sciences, literature, and art. This initiative aims to further expand copyright cooperation and promote cultural and academic exchanges between China and foreign countries.

Elena Pasoli, Director of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, stated at the event that the China Pavilion is a crucial part of the Bologna Children's Book Fair, and through children's books, the world can better understand Chinese culture.

This year's book fair has attracted over 1,500 exhibitors from more than 90 countries and regions around the world and is expected to draw more than 20,000 visitors.
